Wineglass Bay
Freycinet makes up part of the breathtaking coastline of Tasmania and includes the treasured cove known as Wineglass Bay.
A prominent feature of the area is a landscape of red and pink coloured granite rocks and boulders, which are an interesting subject for those with a keen eye for photography.

Tour Itinerary

  • Pick up from Launceston CBD at 08:30;
  • Drop off in Launceston CBD at around17:30;
  • Tour Duration approximately 9 hours.
  1. Campbell Town - Stop to view the 1838 Red Bridge and the Macrocarpa pine tree sculptures;
  2. Ross - Optional visit to historic Ross and the Female Factory and the 1836 bridge and pause for morning tea;
  3. Coles Bay - Stop for lunch before or after climbing to the lookout over Wineglass Bay and visiting the old lighthouse with scenic views along the coast from Cape Tourville;
  4. Bicheno - Visit the Blowhole at the Gulch or stroll along the beach and swim in crystal clear waters and return to Launceston via St Marys.
